
Organic Ingredients
- 2 -3 cups of kale and/or baby spinach
- 6 medium sized carrots
- 1 large cucumber
- 1 green apple
- 1 medium size red bell pepper
- 1 piece of fresh ginger
- ½ lemon
Preparation
- Rinse all ingredients thoroughly
- Cut off tips and tails of carrots, cucumbers and red pepper chop into 2-inch pieces
- Chop kale into 2-inch strips
- Fill 2-3 measuring cups, pressed down, of kale and/or spinach (a combination is delicious)
- Chop apple into medium sized chunks including peel, seeds and core
- Cut and peel a thumbnail sized piece of fresh ginger
- Chop celery into 2-inch sized pieces, including leaves
- Insert all ingredients slowly into juicer one after the other
- Add the celery and lemon juice last
Substitutions: When organic green apples are unavailable, substitute with an organic pear or other tart apple
Servings: Makes two 8-ounce glasses of healthy green deliciousness. Drink to your health!
